KCD2 - Wear a Hat on top of Padded Coifs

This makes a small change in file Data/Libs/Tables/item/equipment_slot.xml so that you can wear a cloth Hat on top of Padded Coif. In vanilla game forces you to only wear Hat on non-padded cloth coif, and only can wear a helmet on a Padded one. This mod does not work on Mail Coifs.

[color=#D4D4D8]This makes a small change in file Data/Libs/Tables/item/equipment_slot.xml so that you can wear a cloth Hat on top of Padded Coif. In vanilla game forces you to only wear Hat on non-padded cloth coif, and only can wear a helmet on a Padded one.[/color]

[color=#D4D4D8]There are no known bugs with this mod. Everything else works normally. You will still need a Padded Coif or a Mail Coif to wear a Helmet, cannot wear helmet on regular coifs same as vanilla, only with this now you can wear Hat with padded coif. [/color]

It is compatible with any mod that does not change the file  Data/Libs/Tables/item/equipment_slot.xml, if any other mod in your library does change the contents of this file, all you need to do is on the other mod you are using replace Line 17 or the line for caps/hats, in the file equipment_slot.xml with this line

which removes the condition  RequiresEmptySlot="head_coif_padded"

This mod might not work on Mail Coifs. Meaning you probably cannot wear hat on top of mail coifs only can wear helmets. Or at least I havent tested it, maybe it will work, I just choose not to do it in game so dont actually know. I mainly just made this mod because I had a padded coif on which I wanted to wear a hat.

If you want to repurpose it so it works on mail coifs too and upload it you are welcome to do so, if you wish to incorporate into your own mod you are also welcome to do so.

[color=#D4D4D8]For Manual installation unzip the file into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods" and type the word: coif into mod_order.txt[/color]
