Relentless Combat - Very Hard

Relentless Combat - Very Hard

The mod changes quite a few parameters turning combat into a really hard (maybe very hard) experience.
This mod is for you that want combat to be really hard, you will need time to practice and get better at it, practice with Gnarly as much as you can before going out there or you probably will get eaten alive. Early game will be very difficult.

The biggest difference you will notice at first is the timing for Perfect Block (PB) and Master Strike (MS). They are very tight, PB is 6 times tighter and MS is 8 times tighter, so you might even think that they are not working but you are probably just not timing it right. This changes alone will make dueling way harder and even after you get the timings, in tense situations you will probably mess-up.

More than PB and MS timing, you will get active enemies, changing weapon direction faster, reacting faster and having better defense.
Group fights will be way harder as all enemies will charge at you, they wont let you duel one on one.

Level, stat and skill now make less impact in combat, you wont be doing a lot more damage because you have higher level then your enemy, or because your are stronger. All these stats still matter, but way less than in Vanilla.

Some stamina costs were also changed, attacks costs less, dodge costs more, loss of stamina from getting hit and damage received when out of stamina were lowered, regeneration from vitality was increased a bit.

Lastly, metal armor will take less damage, so they wont break fast in combat.

I tested the mod quite a bit in my own game with quite a few other mods and it works great for me.
I also tested without other mods and it works, but I did not test as much.
I'll do a rebalance pass if necessary.
The mod is save safe, you can add mid playthrough or remove whenever you want.

Localization:
It doesn't change any localization files so it works in any language.

Compatibility:
This is a PTF mod, it only modifies some parameters so if you don't have another combat balance mod, you wont have any problem.

My thanks to the modding community discord, I learned quite a few things there and also thanks to all the modders that made wonderful mods making it possible to learn from them.

My other mods:
Most (if not all) of my mods are made to make the game harder or more realistic. Even though I try to maintain Vanilla tone.
