Version 5.01

  • Fixed combo S1-Thrust-S2
  • Same action as after LS in MHRise.
  • If successful, you can use Slash3 or LAI.
  • If not, you can sheathe the weapon in a cool pose.

Version 4.6

  1. Added kick animation.
  2. Now the main interface displays the number of Wirebugs recovered every 15 seconds.
  3. Fixed bugs.

Version 4.5

  1. Added Wirebug skill "Sakura Slash", consuming 2 Wirebugs.
  2. When moving with Wirebug, you can press the attack button at low altitude to perform the first half of Sakura Slash.
  3. If the charge is sufficient and hits the monster, the second half of Sakura Slash will trigger, and the gauge increases by +1.
  4. Initially, you have 3 Wirebugs.
    • When fighting with a weapon, each movement consumes 1 Wirebug.
    • If moving without a weapon drawn, no Wirebug is consumed.
  5. Modified slash skills to make their animations more interesting.

Version 4.2

  1. Fixed the +1 gauge bug. Actually, in the old version, you had a 4-level gauge.
  2. LS damage has been split into 2 types.
    • a. Success! You gain +3 delayed damage hits.
    • b. Unsuccessful, but you dodged the attack and the gauge does not decrease.
    • c. Unsuccessful and knocked down, gauge -1.

Because the game becomes difficult in this version, I added 2 optional parts.

  • One is having unlimited Lai.
  • The other is increasing LS time and valve.

Currently, softening is indeed very difficult. Therefore, I removed the stagger effect of the claw attack and reduced the defense value of each monster part (through slashing). Now you no longer need to deliberately attack body parts.

Version 4.1

  1. Replaced the EFX effect of the pose and shortened the duration. The pose now has a special sound effect.
  2. Fixed a bug causing abnormal movement when landing.
  3. Weakened LS and changed the EFX of the subsequent 3-hit combo from a big explosion effect to a normal focused effect.
  4. Adjusted the color of insect silk to make it softer and less harsh.

Version 4.0

The latest update will be the claw; you will never get stuck again. It is very useful in combat, and you can enjoy it better! To balance damage, you will get a weaker Spirit Lai Slash. If you want a more balanced version, you can download V4.0-balanced. In this version, you cannot use Spirit Slash again after using it. Softening value has been added to the jump attack. Now, the 3 delayed hits of Thunder Spirit Slash are indeed delayed, but if you don't like this effect, just delete the 001, 002, and 003.shlp files in my mod.

Version 3.0

We have done our best to restore everything you can get from the Long Sword in Monster Hunter Rise. Wirebugs will replace the Claw. However, you will still have the Claw.

  • When the Claw misses the monster, you can still use it to move.
  • Keep holding the aim key when firing the Claw, otherwise you will not be able to move.

You can press "Ctrl" to kick monsters while moving with Wirebug. If you hit, you can choose to press "Left Mouse Button" to perform Spirit Helm Breaker, or do nothing for a jump attack.

Using Iai Slash does not consume the gauge. Instead, successful counterattacks using Iai Slash give +1 gauge.

I guarantee you will strike a serene pose, although the web effect is not perfect. Motion values have been balanced.

Known issues:

  • If you switch weapons, you may sometimes lose the +1 gauge function.
  • Sometimes you may get crushed; perhaps simple maps in single-player mode are better.

Enjoy! Best content from Caimogu.

Tips:

  1. Ensure you play in a positive state; otherwise, Wirebugs will not be usable.
  2. A small tip for using Wirebugs: The aiming position is not crucial now; just fire roughly toward your marked point. But don't release the aim key before takeoff, otherwise you won't lift off. After airborne, you can release freely, then choose to use a jump attack (normal attack key) for softening, or a kick (blade key) to stay airborne. If you do nothing after takeoff, it defaults to a jump attack to avoid losing the blade on landing. When adjusting your position in the air, you can directly press the blade key.
