吟游诗人和工匠技能包
增加了近50种吟游诗人和工匠技能。
查看大图This mod adds nearly 50 new skills, focusing on Bards, Artificers, and to a lesser extent, Monks or Barbarians. Bard skills rely on Leadership, while Artificer skills require Loremaster and various other abilities. Bard skills manipulate statuses and apply buffs and debuffs, with almost no direct damage. Artificer skills mainly manipulate items both in and out of combat, leaning more toward "force magic" that deals physical damage.
Example Bard Skills
- Trickery: Steal a buff from a character.
- Elemental Dance: Apply a random elemental weakness to an enemy; whenever they take damage of that type, their corresponding elemental resistance is reduced.
- Nightmare Shriek: Awaken a sleeping target, causing them pain, madness, and a random debuff.
- Masochistic Melody: A buff that increases damage and critical hit chance whenever the character receives a negative status.
- Song of Living Nightmares: Apply random debuffs to nearby enemies, ignoring armor. Also "upgrades" various statuses, e.g., turning cold into freezing, burning into necrofire. This is one of the few skills that scale with Intelligence, and I plan to make such mechanics more common.
This mod also adds equippable "Lutes" that can be used either as two-handed clubs or as medium-range wands dealing piercing damage. Unique loot scattered around Fort Joy can modify your skills in different ways (with plenty of room for expansion in later game content).
Example Artificer Skills
- Duplicate: Create an extra copy of a potion, food, or material worth less than 50 gold (long cooldown).
- Gluttony: Force an enemy to consume all food in their inventory or on the ground within 8 meters.
- Grasshopper Legs: Grant an ally unit the ability to jump extremely far once per turn.
- Nihilistic Materialism: Curse an object (e.g., a ladder); whenever a character uses it, they become cursed for 2 turns.
- Recraft: Reroll a nearby epic+ weapon into a new variant, with a chance to downgrade it to rare or common quality.
New Warfare Skills
These skills mostly utilize a new status I created—Stagger, a lighter form of knockdown that essentially reduces AP recovery and other negative effects.
- Grapple: Knock down nearby targets for up to 3 turns, while increasing your own AP cost for actions. This is a strength vs. finesse contest, and the character can attempt to resist each turn.
- Shove: Throw a character a short distance; if the throw involves significant vertical distance (e.g., pushing off a scaffold), there's a high chance to cause Stagger.
- Jump: Short-distance leap, with a chance of Stagger when jumping vertically downward.
- Dive Bomb: Like Phoenix Dive, but causes Stagger to characters in the area based on the vertical distance of your jump.
- Added five new character creation presets: Bard, Battle Bard, Artificer, Commoner, and Cheat Bard (starts with a few diamonds).
- Enchanter preset adjusted to Bard class, so you can recruit Lohse (or other characters) as a Bard.
- Nebora sells Artificer skills; Laslow and Eckster sell Bard skills.
- The Vengeance's crystal ball merchant sells both Artificer and Bard skills.
- Suggestions for future merchants are welcome.
A full skill list will be released soon. For now, enjoy the surprise :)
Known Bugs/Issues
- This should work with existing saves, but requires a merchant reset (upon leveling up or after 1-2 hours) to start seeing the skills. I'm fairly confident activating and deactivating this mod is safe, but I can't fully guarantee it. Notably, if you add this mod and don't like the skills or other content, it's easy to ignore them.
- Balance is... unknown. I thoroughly tested most Bard skills during testing, but Artificer skills are a bit uncertain, and I'm not sure about later game.
- Duplicate sets item quantity to two or three, even if it's a larger stack. Trying to fix this, but currently duplicates only 1 item stack.
- I'm almost certain I've forgotten various statuses related to Trickery, Rhyme, Feedback, and Resonance.
- Icons are temporary; some awesome icons are coming soon (thanks to Mialune), but more help is needed on this front (especially for Artificer and Warfare skill icons).
- Spell effects will also improve over time.
- Unable to change Bard or Artificer skills on creation for now; not sure if this can be fixed.
- Of course, many other bugs, unclear skill descriptions, etc., are to be expected.
Thanks to Ameranth for the ideas and scripting of "Borrowed Time Heals" and "Cauterization Therapy," and to Mialune for drawing the main icons (and more to come!)
Thanks for testing!
