Katherine is a hands-on companion: you speak with her, give her orders, and bring her along wherever you go. She's made her home at the [b]Kutná Hora forge[/b], and every interaction runs through her dialogue menu. A lore-friendly, dialogue-driven immersion mod — no cheats, no hotkeys.

Katherine settles in on her own:

Speak to Katherine and her menu opens up:

Katherine carries a [b]map marker[/b], so she's always easy to find. Tell her to wait and she'll go about her day around the forge rather than freezing on the spot — glance at the map or head back to the smithy and she'll be there.

[size=4][b]Pick where she sleeps (console)[/b][/size]
By default she rests on the bench-bed beside the forge. Prefer another spot? Open the console with [b]~[/b]:

[size=4][b]Known issues[/b][/size]

[][b]Bed-related mods may conflict.[/b] Katherine's sleep spot relies on the forge beds being registered as expected. Other mods that [b]add, move, replace, or re-register beds[/b] (especially at the Kutná Hora forge or "sleep anywhere" type mods) can interfere with her bed selection — she may sleep in the wrong place or ignore the [i]bed[/i] commands. If that happens, it's a conflict with that other mod, not a bug here.[/]

Fully localized in [b]16 languages[/b] (menu text and dialogue prompts).

[][b]Manual:[/b] extract the archive into [i]KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\[/i]. The [b]mod.manifest[/b] file must end up [b]exactly one level inside[/b] Mods — like this:

[b]⚠ Do NOT run this alongside my other forge companions.[/b] Katherine, [b]"Rose — Forge Dialogue Companion"[/b] and [b]"Theresa — Settle & Companion"[/b] all place a companion at the Kutná Hora forge and will clash. Pick [b]just one[/b] of them.
Otherwise this mod touches no base-game pak and is safe to add or remove.
