🏰 CATALAN TRANSLATION FOR KINGDOM COME: DELIVERANCE II

Version 1.1.0 — Functional Catalan text translation for the game

Catalan translation for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

This mod translates the game text into Catalan, including interface text, menus, dialogues, descriptions and general localization content.

This version uses the internal Dutch language slot, but the package includes the ui_dutch key translated as “Català”. Therefore, the language menu should display Català.

If you still see Dutch instead of Català, select Dutch anyway. It uses the same internal slot and the game text will appear in Catalan.

⚙ MANUAL INSTALLATION

  1. Download the mod.

  2. Extract the ZIP file into any temporary folder, for example your desktop.

  3. Inside the ZIP you will find this file:

  4. Find your Kingdom Come: Deliverance II installation folder.

    Common paths:

    Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2

  • Close the game.

🗑 UNINSTALLATION

  • Close the game.

  • Go to the game’s Localization folder.

  • Delete this file:

    Dutch_xml.pak

    If you made a backup named:

    Dutch_xml.original.pak

    you can restore it by renaming it back to:

    Dutch_xml.pak

⚠ IMPORTANT NOTES

  • This mod only replaces text.
  • It does not include Catalan voices or facial animations.
  • Internally, it uses the Dutch slot because the game does not allow adding a new language named Catalan in a simple and reliable way.
  • It does not replace Portuguese_xml.pak.
  • If the game does not show the changes, close it completely and launch it again.
