[b]INSTALL ONLY ONE VERSION AT A TIME.[/b]

All multipliers below are relative to [b]Version 1[/b], not the vanilla game. They describe the mod’s settings; actual flight performance depends on your upgrades, difficulty, and environment.

[b]VERSION 1 — Enhanced[/b]
A balanced starting point for a more capable and responsive jetpack.

[]Disable or uninstall any older Jetpack Enhanced version.[/]
[]Download your chosen version through Vortex, or import its ZIP using [b]Install From File[/b].[/]
[]Enable the mod and deploy.[/]
[]Use the current No Man’s Sky game extension and the default mod type — do not select “Deprecated PAK.”[/]

[]Extract your chosen ZIP.[/]
[]Copy its entire [b]Jetpack - Enhanced - COSMOS - VERSION N[/b] folder into [b]No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS\[/b].[/]
[]Keep the named mod folder. Its [b]Globals[/b] and [b]METADATA[/b] folders should remain inside it.[/]

[b]Important:[/b] The correct location is [b]GAMEDATA\MODS[/b], not the old [b]GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS[/b] location. Do not install the same version manually and through Vortex.


[b][size=4]COMPATIBILITY[/size][/b]

COSMOS uses [b]EXML patches[/b] that change specific settings instead of replacing entire game files. Other mods can edit different settings in the same files without necessarily conflicting.

This mod edits:

[][b]NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE[/b] — core jetpack and fixed-upgrade tank bonuses.[/]
[][b]NMS_REALITY_GCPROCEDURALTECHNOLOGYTABLE[/b] — procedural jetpack upgrade tank ranges.[/]

Mods changing these same values may override one another depending on load order. The three Jetpack Enhanced versions also conflict with each other, so enable only one.



[b][size=4]UNINSTALLATION & FEEDBACK[/size][/b]

In Vortex, disable or remove the mod and deploy again. For a manual installation, remove its folder from [b]GAMEDATA\MODS[/b].

When reporting an issue, please include your game version, which mod version you installed, your installation method, whether Rocket Boots are equipped, and any other movement or jetpack mods you use.
