[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Hanbei the Undying[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will help assist in boss fights during the early stages of the game. He will also appear periodically to help you progress and fight mini-bosses during the early stages of the game. He will appear to help you fight Genichiro and Owl. He will also appear to help you fight the Duo Guardian Apes alongside Emma. He is undying and obviously cannot die in battle. His AI is very barebones and serves more as a tanky distraction then anything. Hanbei has glowing white eyes to help you better track who you are attacking so you don't get confused. Since he looks very identical to other Ashina Soldiers.[/color][/b][/size]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Nogami Gensai[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will now also assist you when fighting Lady Butterfly. Other surviving Ashina Fencer's will also lend their aid and assist you in the area to fight off the Bandits as best they can.[/color][/b][/size]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Emma the Gentle Blade[/color] [color=#d4d4d8]will now assist the player to defeat the Demon of Hatred when the Sculptor turns into a demon. Her desire to kill a demon has finally come! Emma will also periodically appear to help the player fight supernatural enemies like the Headless and Shichimen. However Emma will not help you fight the underwater Headless, the Headless in the Hidden Forest, or the Shichimen at Fountainhead Palace. You will have to fight underwater bosses yourself. O'rin will help you fight the Headless in the Hidden Forest instead. And an Okami Spirit will help you fight the Shichimen Warrior in Fountainhead Palace instead. Emma will also assist the player to defeat the Duo Guardian Apes alongside Hanbei.[/color][/b][/size]

[color=#00ff00][size=3][b]The battle against the Demon of Hatred is now more epic and realistic. As you get to the boss arena, surviving Ashina soldiers will be fighting against the demon and the interior ministry. Makes more sense now, sense dying Ashina soldiers kept telling you and asking you to go help their comrades at the battlefield. Emma will be there with 2 other Ashina generals leading the defense.[/b][/size][/color]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Jinzaemon Kumano[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will now assist the player to defeat the Interior Ministry Shadow in the Ashina Reservoir tunnel. He will also assist you when you are fighting Snake Eyes in Ashina Depths.[/color][/b][/size]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]O'rin of the Water's Spirit[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will now assist the player to defeat the Corrupted Monk at Mibu Village. Her spirit will also help you during the fight against the Headless in the Hidden Forest. Please be aware that her team type is setup to be team type 15, Puppeteer. This means she can damage you and you can damage her. Her AI only works in the Corrupted Monk fight in Mibu Village if her team type is changed from White Phantom to Puppeteer.  Same goes for the Headless in the Hidden Forest.[/color][/b][/size]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Nightjar Ninja[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will assist the player in the Sunken Valley to defeat Snake Eyes, Centipede Giraffe, and the Guardian Ape.[/color][/b][/size]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]Okami Warrior's Spirit[/color][color=#d4d4d8] will assist the player at Fountainhead Palace to defeat the Corrupted Monk, Raging Bull, and Shichimen Warrior.[/color][/b][/size]

[color=#00ff00][size=3][b]The NPCs will follow the player when ever they are able to. Obviously they cannot vault and jump on roof tops so don't expect them to follow you up there. If you run too fast and they lose sight of you, just come back to them and they will begin following you again. Please be aware that fog walls will trap them outside if they don't get inside before the boss fight starts. They cannot perform death blows like the player. So you will have to finish off any boss or enemies that require a death blow.[/b][/size][/color]

[color=#ff7700][size=3][b]NPCs inside a boss arena cannot leave the boss arena. Please do not be alarmed when you notice this. Not sure why Fromsoft programmed it that way.[/b][/size][/color]

[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]HP and Posture[/color][color=#d4d4d8] bar are enabled for the NPC allies.[/color][/b][/size]
[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]NPCs come with a passive HP regen[/color][color=#d4d4d8] to help sustain them. (Its just a weakened version of the pellet effect with infinite duration)[/color][/b][/size]
[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]NPCs come with a modest health pool[/color][color=#d4d4d8] to help tank enemies and bosses for you.[/color][/b][/size]
[size=3][b][color=#00ffff]NPCs will not help you during boss memories.[/color][color=#d4d4d8] You must fight the boss by yourself this time around.[/color][/b][/size]

[b][size=4][color=#00ff00]Step 1:[/color][color=#ffffff] Download Mod Engine 3 = https://github.com/garyttierney/me3[/color]

[color=#00ff00]Step 2:[/color][color=#ffffff] Unzip Mod Engine 3 and place anywhere you like. Just create a new empty folder and name it like "Puppet Mod" or whatever you want and then place the Mod Engine 3 contents into the newly created folder[/color]

[color=#00ff00]Step 3:[/color][color=#ffffff] Create a new folder inside the folder you just created and named "Puppet Mod" or whatever you named it in step 2 Name that new folder "sekiro-mods"[/color]

[color=#00ff00]Step 4:[/color][color=#ffffff] Delete all the other folder structures not related to Sekiro, for example elden ring and nightreign folders and such etc that you unzipped from step 1[/color]

[color=#00ff00]Step 5:[/color][color=#ffffff] Download my mod and unzip it. Copy paste the "sekiro-mods" folder from my mod into your newly created folder you named "sekiro-mods" in step 3[/color]

[color=#00ff00]Step 6:[/color][color=#ffffff] Make sure Steam is currently open/logged in/signed in. Now click on "launch-sekiro-mods" from the folder we created in step 2 and play the game[/color] [/size][/b]
