GTA Texture
This is a texture mod which adds realistic textures to your game
查看大图Upgrade the urban surfaces of Los Santos with a complete, Physically Based Rendering (PBR) brick material overhaul. This pack replaces standard, flat brick textures with a full suite of high-definition maps designed to react realistically to GTA V's lighting engine and custom graphics enhancements (like ENB or QuantV). Whether under midday sun or neon streetlights, masonry and brick walls will display authentic depth, micro-surface variation, and accurate light scattering.
Included Texture Maps:
[]Albedo (
brick_albedo.png
): Clean base color map with baked-in lighting removed for true-to-life color accuracy.[/]
[]Normal (
brick_normal.png
): High-detail surface relief that simulates individual brick edges and mortar grooves.[/]
[]Roughness (
brick_roughness.png
): Controls specular reflections so mortar stays matte while brick faces catch subtle, realistic highlights.[/]
[]Ambient Occlusion (
brick_ao.png
): Enhances contact shadows within deep crevices and mortar lines.[/]
[]16-bit Height (
brick_height16.png
): Precision displacement data for parallax occlusion mapping (POM) and deep 3D surface relief.[/]
[heading]Installation Guide[/heading]
Because these are raw
.png
PBR texture assets, they need to be imported into GTA V's
.ytd
(Texture Dictionary) files using OpenIV.
Prerequisites:
[]OpenIV installed and configured for Grand Theft Auto V.[/]
[]ASI Loader and OpenIV.asi installed (via OpenIV's Tools > ASI Manager) so your game reads the
mods
folder.[/]
Installation Steps:
[]Extract the Archive: Unzip
GTAV_FULL_MOD
to a working folder on your desktop.[/]
[]Launch OpenIV: Open the program, select Grand Theft Auto V (Windows), and click Edit Mode in the top right corner.[/]
[]Locate Target Texture Dictionary (
.ytd
):
[]Navigate to your
mods
folder directory containing the world textures you want to replace (for example,
mods/x64i.rpf/levels/gta5/...
or a custom
.rpf
addon pack).[/]
[]Note: Always modify files inside your
mods
folder, never the base game files.[/]
[/]
[]Import the Textures:
[]Double-click the target
.ytd
file to open the Texture Editor.[/]
[]Click Import (or Replace if overwriting a specific existing brick texture) and select the
.png
files from
GTAV_FULL_MOD/02_PBR_Textures/brick/
:
[]
brick_albedo.png
[/]
[]
brick_normal.png
[/]
[]
brick_roughness.png
[/]
[]
brick_ao.png
[/]
[]
brick_height16.png
[/]
[/]
[/]
[]Configure Compression: Ensure mipmaps are generated and set compression to DXT1 (for opaque Albedo) or DXT5 / BC7 (for Normal/Roughness/Height maps) to prevent visual artifacts.[/]
[]Save & Launch: Click Save in the
.ytd
editor, close OpenIV, and launch GTA V.[/]
