In the shadowy realms of the Warframe universe, Excalibur Umbra Prime stands as a paragon of ancient power and enigmatic heritage. The Umbra Warframes are relics of a bygone era—they are not mere machines; they are vessels forged from the crucible of time and fate, housing an unyielding will. Shrouded in silent fury and an aura of unmatched might, Excalibur Umbra Prime embodies this forgotten legacy.

As a Tenno warrior, Excalibur Umbra Prime was once a beacon in an endless war, fighting against forces that sought to dominate and destroy. It wielded unparalleled strength, honed skills to perfection, and possessed unwavering loyalty. Yet even the greatest warriors are not immune to the whims of destiny.

During a fateful mission to thwart a new threat from the enigmatic Grineer, Excalibur Umbra Prime found itself ensnared by a catastrophic rift—a tear in the very fabric of reality, triggered by a mysterious and ancient anomaly. This rift, twisted by the energy of a forgotten Void artifact, pulled the mighty Warframe from its own universe and hurled it into the turbulent world of Calradia.

1 Excalibur Umbra Prime emerged from the rift into a world starkly different from the technologically advanced realms of the Tenno.
2 The harsh medieval landscape of Calradia stretched before it—a land torn by war and conflict, where chivalry and brutality clashed under an endless sky.

Upon arrival, Excalibur Umbra Prime's first instinct was to assess and adapt.
The planet's strange energies were interfering with its systems.
What were once fluidly executed skills now felt bound by the laws of this world.

1. The Warframe's form—a sleek, armored figure with an eerie, otherworldly sheen—stirred awe and fear among Calradia's inhabitants.
2. Its fearsome presence and mysterious nature quickly drew the attention of local lords and powers.
3. Rumors of a ghostly warrior descending from the heavens spread like wildfire, with many interpreting the Prime’s Exalted Blade as a divine omen or a sign of doom.

Trapped in Calradia, their technology and power significantly diminished in this new world, the Shadow Army is actively seeking a way back to their original universe. Their mission now includes survival, adaptation to the local environment, and finding a path home.

What is this Mod?

This mod adds the Shadow Corporation faction to the game.
This faction is from the Warframe series.

Main File*

Minor Faction Only.

• Armory may be unbalanced.

Optional File*

This file contains Mod Umbra's items.xml (September 8, 2024, v1.0)
1.) Download ARMORY FIRST
2.) Download MINOR FACTION SECOND
3.) Overwrite this Folder over ARMORY.

• This is to balance the armor.

Where to Get Units?

• Units from lowest to highest tier can be recruited randomly in taverns based on their culture (with a chance).
• You can preview the minor faction info in-game to see their culture type.
• These units spawn as guards for caravans, elite caravans, and villager parties, allowing you to capture them.
• Another way is to defeat the minor faction leader and capture their troops.
• You can use console commands and cheat a unit for yourself.

Compatibility

• Generally, this mod is compatible with most other mods.
• It does not work with total conversion mods that have custom culture, cities, and taverns. These minor factions use default culture, which conflicts with their generation in taverns.
• This will not work with recruitment-related mods.

Crashes

• High chance that crafting will cause game crashes.
• If you're using the optional file and encountering errors, use the main file instead.
• If you still encounter errors, remove other mods one by one until you find the conflicting mod. You can post in the comments or report the bug so we can update the info.

Additional Information

• You need to start a new game to generate the minor faction.
• To recruit this faction into your kingdom, you must first kill the initial leader, after which the remaining 3 members will open a recruitment dialogue.
• Make sure to download the mod with the correct date and version, otherwise units will show as textureless.
• Please note I'm just a hobbyist, not a professional programmer. Have fun!
• If the Armory author requests removal of these minor factions, I will comply.
