Shadowheart's Memory Recovery Tweaks - Heal Spell and Act 3 Noblestalks

Heal Shadowheart's memories of Nocturne without the Act 1 Noblestalk.


[color=#d9d2e9][b]How It Works:[/b][/color]

This mod makes a number of tweaks to how you can help Shadowheart recover her memories of Nocturne, similar to the ways Durge can recover their memories in the vanilla game.

These include allowing any Noblestalk to unlock the conversation about Shadowheart recovering her memories, and not just the one you find in the Underdark in Act 1 (so the Noblestalks Derryth sells in Act 3 should be able to help recover her memories, too), allowing her to consume the Noblestalk on her own as a companion to recover her memories, and letting the Heal spell heal her memories, too, similar to Durge.

Unlocking the memory via the Heal spell or having Shadowheart consume the Noblestalk on her own as a companion will trigger a version of the dialog originally meant for Origin Shadowheart (duplicated so I could edit the flags that are set during the dialog, and prevent her Origin questline from triggering inappropriately as a companion)


[color=#cfe2f3][b]Notes/Known issues:[/b][/color]

If you have Shadowheart try to consume the Noblestalk on her own, she won't be able to the first time she tries to use it. She will be able to the second time you try to have her eat it, though.

I also didn't edit the quest dialog if you have her consume the Noblestalk on her own, or if you use the Heal spell, since it wasn't really worth the compatibility issues that'd come with editing her quest, imo. This means the quest update will still say you convinced her to eat the Noblestalk, even if you didn't. I might try and find another way to tweak the text in the future, but right now it's unedited.

Shadowheart will also need to be in the active party in order for her to recover her memories when you cast the Heal spell on her.

This mod does not edit any existing game scripts or resources, so there shouldn't be too many compatibility issues. Let me know if you run into any problems, of course, though!

This mod should be safe to install and uninstall mid-playthrough at any time.

Install via BG3 Mod Manager. Uninstall by removing the mod from your Mods folder, or moving it out of your mod load order.
