In vanilla, an installed weapon or clothing mod is stuck: you can only replace it, and the old one is destroyed. This mod unlocks the game's own [b]unequip action for every weapon and clothing mod slot[/b] - the part goes back to your inventory, nothing is destroyed.

[]Weapon mods and clothing mods can be unequipped at any time, from the same native item screen[/]
[]The removed mod returns to your inventory, ready to install on another item[/]
[][b]Selling, disassembling or dropping an item automatically unequips all its mods and attachments first[/b] - single sale, bulk junk sale, drop points, disassemble and dropping on the ground are all covered, with an on-screen note of how many parts were saved[/]
[][b]Settings menu[/b] - with [url=https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4885]Mod Settings[/url] installed, each auto-strip (sell / disassemble / drop), the notification and the save cleanup can be toggled. Without it the mod runs on the defaults[/]
[]Scopes, muzzles and quickhack programs keep their vanilla behavior (already removable)[/]
[]Invisible placeholder mods that the game puts on looted weapons are ignored - they never end up in your inventory[/]
[]Integral cyberware parts (Gorilla Arms knuckles, Mantis Blades edge, Monowire cable, Projectile Launch System rounds) stay locked - removing those would break the weapon[/]

[b]📖 How to use[/b]
Open the item's modification screen as usual, select the installed mod and use the native unequip action. Selling, disassembling and dropping strip mods automatically.

[b]📦 Installation[/b]
Extract the archive into the game's root folder (the one that contains [i]bin[/i], [i]archive[/i], [i]r6[/i]...), or install with Vortex / Mod Organizer 2. The file lands in:

[b]🌍 Translations[/b]
Texts live in [i]Localization.reds[/i] as one package per language. Anyone can add a language: copy a package, translate the strings and add a case in [i]GetPackage[/i] - or publish it as a separate mod registering its own provider with the same keys, no need to touch this mod. Translations are welcome.
