Player Vehicles
Your vehicle call menu displays distance and estimated time of arrival for each owned vehicle.
After requesting your vehicle, you receive an arrival time based on navigation routing, travel speed and road/traffic/district factors. Notification content is contextually generated based on these factors, as well as player/vehicle location.
You can continue to move around, and upon the ETA completing the vehicle will appear nearby and approach as normal.
If a vehicle has no active world spawn, it will be dispatched from your garage instead. V's default apartment garage can be changed in Mod Settings.
Delamain
Using the Delamain cab is now more dynamic and immersive. Rather than spawning from a fixed point, the nearest available cabs are 'dispatched' from a pool of realistic locations across the city.
6th Street's union holds a monopoly over cabs in the Southeast. Northside remains consistently quiet, and no coverage exists outside official Night City borders.
coverage and hotspots vary by time of day. At certain times there may be no free cabs available. In this case you will receive a dispatch directly from Delamain HQ in City Center.
Excelsior Package Lifetime Coverage
Calling Del during emergency situations (low health, active combat, high NCPD heat) activates the relevant clause in your subscription. Delamain will disregard traffic laws, public safety, and possibly physics to reach you faster.
Traffic and Road Conditions
Rush hour congestion increases arrival times. Clear late-night roads reduce wait times.
These conditions can impact your ETA unpredictably.
Vehicles travel to you at higher average speeds outside city limits, and slower in the City Center.
These modifiers can be enabled/disabled the mod's settings

• Dark Future
Fully compatible with DF’s credit system and vehicle menu behaviour. Excelsior response also recognises DF-native critical conditions (injury, nerve, humanity).
• Drive an Aerial Vehicle
AVs arrive much faster and are unaffected by road conditions.

^^^These three are functionally redundant if using this mod- i've reworked and expanded these features.

also uses vehicle delays. Consult the descriptions and choose one or the other.

Reportedly stops vehicles from spawning

• Use a vehicle persistence mod
To get the most value from player vehicle side of this mod, you'll need to prevent your vehicles from despawning when you walk away from them.
Vehicle No Despawn
Simple and safe. Vehicles may still despawn during certain quest triggers, but it's a huge improvement over vanilla. What i've generally used for playthroughs.
OR
• Improved Vehicle Persistence
More reliable persistence but requires careful setup. Read the description and posts.
If used alongside Dark Future, install this compatibility patch.
Either will work with Realistic Transport Dispatch.
• Immersive Delamain - highly recommended pairing with this mod. Actually makes the Delamain feature worthwhile.
• Extended Vehicle Call Menu for making the call menu less cramped. COMPATIBILITY ISSUE WITH V1.0.1 ONLY - see pinned post.
• Balanced Nighttime Cycle using one of its time-scale options. Or any mod which slows down the game time... makes waiting a few minutes less stressful.
• For making 'peak hour' actually real in-game:
Either Realistic Traffic Density OR Time Based Crowd Density (not both) along with Traffic Lights Resolved
...Will make your CPU toasty but it's a glorious combo.
Performance
All logic executes only when opening the vehicle menu or requesting a vehicle.
There is no persistent background performance impact.

Huge thanks to Rivarez for permission to adapt the original Real Transport Calling System. This began as a patch for Delamain support, but grew into an almost full rewrite.
This mod uses its core vehicle tracking and deferred summon logic. The algo is simple and elegant- I would not have thought of it myself. Despite this mod being a substantially expanded system with a very different codebase, it could not exist without Rivarez' work.
