Tune Oni Vision to suit how you explore. Starts with 2x pulse range, 2x item detection range and 2x icon duration. Other settings start at the game's normal values.

Oni Vision must already be unlocked in the skill tree. This mod changes the ability you have; it does not unlock it.

Features

  • Separate controls for pulse range, item detection and Oni Sense range.
  • Adjust icon duration, highlight fade, pulse spread speed and cooldown.
  • Adjust auto-collect range and view the game's original values beside your settings.
  • Reset every multiplier to 1x or disable the mod to restore the values it changed.

Requirements and game compatibility Onimusha: Way of the Sword, PC Steam version 1.0.1.0, the version used for development. Other game versions and storefronts are unverified. Single-player use only. REFramework nightly is required. The download contains a Lua script, README and licence; REFramework itself is not bundled. The C# API is not required.

Installation

  1. Install REFramework with dinput8.dll beside OnimushaWotS.exe.
  2. Extract this ZIP into the game folder. The script should be at reframework/autorun/enhanced_oni_vision_options.lua.
  3. Launch, load a save and press Insert. Open ScriptRunner, then EnhancedOniVisionOptions.

Settings and limitations 1x means the normal game value. A smaller pulse spread time makes the pulse faster; a cooldown of 0 removes its wait. Settings are saved in reframework/data/enhanced_oni_vision_options.json.

Avoid other mods that change the same Oni Eye parameters. Large detection ranges may reveal objects through terrain. Compatibility with every mod combination has not been tested.

Uninstall Close the game and remove reframework/autorun/enhanced_oni_vision_options.lua. Optionally remove reframework/data/enhanced_oni_vision_options.json to clear its settings.
