With this mod, shops in Acts 1 and 2 of [b]Slay the Spire 2[/b] can offer a way forward when you are short on coins. Pick an item, review the terms, and decide: [b]Accept[/b] or [b]Decline[/b].

[]Loans have a gold limit: the merchant’s generosity only goes so far.[/]

[]Found the money? Repay the debt early at a shop.[/]

Celebrate your great victory. Count the spoils. Look towards the next stretch of the Spire. Aren’t you forgetting someone? You can pay the full debt… or try to settle things the hard way. If you choose to fight and win, the debt is cancelled and credit stays closed for the rest of that run; regular purchases still work.

Battle difficulty scales with your debt in both single-player and co-op runs. The merchant does not collect in coins alone.

Each player manages their own debt. If one debtor chooses to fight or cannot pay, the collector faces the whole party in a single battle.

A future in-game configuration is planned for gold and loan limits, surcharges, difficulty multipliers, and other balance parameters. It is not available yet: the fine print is still being negotiated.

[]Extract the zip into your [b]Slay the Spire 2/mods[/b] folder (create it if it doesn't exist). You should end up with [b]mods/mionellessi.prestamos/mionellessi.prestamos.json[/b].[/]
[]Launch the game: it loads the mod on its own. Modded runs use a separate save profile from your normal ones.[/]
[]Don't install it from Nexus and the Steam Workshop at the same time: the game would load it twice.[/]
