▸  Starts the game directly instead of through Steam, so a pending update never gets applied.
▸  Your ASI mods load exactly as before. It does not replace your mod loader.

[b]2.[/b]  Drop [b]CrimsonDesertLauncher.exe[/b] in your [b]bin64[/b] folder, beside [b]CrimsonDesert.exe[/b].
[b]3.[/b]  Start Steam, then run the launcher. Shortcut it and use that from now on.

▸  It does not touch licensing. Steam must be running and the copy must be yours.

Put it in [b]bin64[/b], or make [b]CrimsonDesertLauncher.ini[/b] beside it:

Steam is not running yet. Let it settle at the library.

[b]Mods not loading[/b]
Check the [b]asi load[/b] line. No proxy DLL found means your mod loader is not installed. That is the loader, not this.

Automatic updates are still set to always. Redo step 1.

Add [b]Pause=0[/b] under [b][Launcher][/b] in the ini.[/spoiler]
