[b][size=4]Who is this for?[/size][/b]
This mod isn't political, philosophical, or religious.

It's just a mod.

There are some who try to act as 'mod gatekeepers' by trolling or shaming others into creating or using mods only [b]they[/b] approve.  We believe that is antithetical to modding.

At Krugmods we believe that adults should be able to mod their games for any reason they want or no reason at all.

This mod censors/alters the harder profanity found in the game into lesser profanities or softer language.

[b]Subtitles [/b]- As of version 1.0.2 I believe all profanity has been covered with the exception of some mild instances of 'bloody', 'hell', and a few others.
[b]Audio [/b]- Around 95% of the audio profanity has been covered.  It is much more difficult to achieve 100% coverage on the audio as the tools used cannot always pick up every spoken profanity due to background noise, accents, etc. So just understand there are likely some that slipped through.

If you find any missed profanity, either subtitle or audio, feel free to message me the exact location, npc/character, phrase and I will try to hunt it down and get it updated.

[][color=#D4D4D8]Subtitles - Censors/alters most profanity found in the game but leaves alone some milder profanity (e.g. 'bloody, 'hell').[/color][/]
[][color=#D4D4D8]Audio - Censors around 95% of all hard profanity.  Roughly 1,000 audio files were flagged and censored.[/color][/]
[][color=#D4D4D8]Subtitles - Replaces profanity with milder language that is already found in the game or in line with British speaking style to maintain tonal cohesion and continuity.[/color][/]
[][color=#D4D4D8]Audio - Mutes profanity except for a few milliseconds of the start of the word.[/color][/]
[][color=#D4D4D8]Subtitles/Audio - These changes were made using a combination of AI and manual editing due to the sheer volume of spoken dialog in this game.[/color][/]
[][color=#D4D4D8]Subtitles - This mod comes in two versions currently: censored and altered. With [b]censored[/b], the profanity is kept but part of the root word is replaced with asterisks (e.g. f***, fer, fing).  With [b]altered[/b], the profanity has been replaced with a milder equivalent (e.g. fing-> sodding, s->rubbish).[/color][/]

[color=#D4D4D8]This mod replaces the English localization text so it shouldn't interfere with any mod except those that touch localization.[/color]


[size=4][b]Version History[/b][/size]

[][b]1.0.2 (audio release) [/b]- The audio mod was rolled out as version 1.0.2 as each censored subtitle entry was matched against its respective audio file, which were then fed through a bulk audio censoring software.[/]
[][b]1.0.2 [/b]- This version gets us to 100% coverage!  I also went through the altered text and fixed a number of cases where AI had picked the wrong word based on context.[/]
[][b]1.0.1 [/b]- Another few dozen profanity instances were added to the mod.  All f-words (and f-word variants) are now 100% covered.  Overall profanity covered is likely nearing 99%.[/]
[][b]1.0.0 [/b]- This initial version of the mod covered roughly 97% of profanity found in the game.[/*]
