《MediEvil - 加拉米尔英雄》

《MediEvil - 加拉米尔英雄》

《MediEvil: HoG》是一个粉丝项目,旨在重现《MediEvil》游戏(PSX版)的前四个关卡。

Summary: MediEvil: Hero of Gallowmere is a fan-made project that recreates the first four levels of MediEvil (PSX version). Play as the long-dead knight, Sir Daniel Fortesque, who has just been resurrected!
Explore the land of Gallowmere on a quest to hunt down the evil sorcerer Zarok.
He has stolen the souls of the living and used them to raise the dead (including you). This version features several small improvements over the standard release.
It includes enhancements to design, visuals, and audio,
bug fixes,
enemy balance adjustments,
and other improvements. Features:

  • The first four levels of MediEvil rebuilt within The Elder Scrolls.
This amounts to roughly 2-3 hours of gameplay.
  • A linear, Halloween-themed adventure in a brand-new land, filled with fun and slightly mad characters.
  • Beautifully handcrafted areas and locations.
  • The original soundtrack heightens the Halloween atmosphere!
  • A spectacular final boss battle.
  • A handful of puzzles and side quests to keep you thinking, while also providing you with better equipment (Short Sword, Long Sword, Throwing Knives, Cursed Staff, Crossbow, Hammer, Copper Shield, and Silver Shield)
  • Unique sense of humor.
  • The ability to use your own arm as a weapon.
  • Collectibles include trivia from the original game (unlocked after defeating the boss) Comments & Showcase  Installation:
  1. Download and install the files using Nexus Mod Manager.
  2. Manually download the file.
Extract the compressed file into your Skyrim/Data folder. Usually located at C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data. Launch Skyrim and go to the "MODS" section. Navigate to "Load Order". Find "Gallowmere.esp" and check the checkbox next to it. If you can't find "Gallowmere.esp", the file may have been extracted to the wrong folder. Start the game: Launch Skyrim and select "New Game" from the main menu. Voila! You're playing my mod! I recommend choosing "Sir Daniel Fortesque" as your race.
It's not a big deal, but I've balanced the game around this character.
    And you know...
Playing this mod without Sir Dan is as weird as playing Tomb Raider without Lara Croft ^^ You can start a normal Skyrim game before or after completing this mod.
  3. You will have the option to start from the very beginning of the game (including the opening and execution scene) or from Helgen Keep.
  4. You can return to the End of Time at any point and start the medieval portion of the mod.
  5. The teleport from Skyrim to the End of Time is located in a small cemetery near Riverwood (across the river).
  6. You can also exchange equipment gathered in the medieval section for higher-tier versions there.  This mod does not use quest markers.
If you're stuck and don't know what to do, look around.
There should be an NPC or a note nearby giving you a hint about your next step. Compatibility: This mod is incompatible with most other mods that alter the initial starting location ("incompatible" means "the game won't crash, but one of the mods won't function").
However, thanks to a compatibility patch (available in the optional files section of the download area), it is compatible with Arthmoor's Alternate Start - Live Another Life (tested version 4.0.2). To ensure it works correctly, use the following load order:
  7. Skyrim, Update, DLCs
  8. Alternate Start - Live Another Life
  9. Alternate Start - Live Another Life Extensions
  10. MediEvil: Hero of Gallowmere
  11. MediEvil: Hero of Gallowmere Compatibility Patch  This mod is designed to be balanced with vanilla Skyrim and provide a moderate challenge on Adept difficulty.
Using other difficulty levels or any combat mods may break this balance, making the game either too difficult or too easy. The same goes for visual mods. Any ENB, mesh replacer, or retexture could enhance or break the aesthetic of this carefully crafted mod. Use with caution! The mod itself has a darker tone, so if you're using any mod or ENB that makes things even darker, you may need to disable them. If it's not too much to ask, please take at least a few minutes to try this mod without any other mods installed to see how it looks and feels as designed. I really appreciate it :) What is MediEvil? – A (not so) brief introduction to the mod's inspiration: MediEvil is an action-adventure video game and the first title in the MediEvil series.
Developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Sony.
Released on October 9, 1998, in Europe,
October 21, 1998, in North America,
and June 17, 1999, in Japan for the PlayStation. During the game, players must traverse multiple levels, from a zombie-filled graveyard to a ghost ship crewed by undead pirates, to floating platforms in a magic forest surrounded by flying imps.
Various collectible items are scattered across levels, which must be gathered to access subsequent areas or levels.
Numerous books are placed on pedestals throughout the game, some offering advice to Sir Dan, others containing humorous jokes or background lore on the area.
Some books are hidden in secret locations, but most are along Sir Dan's path. The game begins with a flashback to the fictional kingdom of Gallowmere in the 13th century.
Players control the remains of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a deceased champion knight held in high historical esteem,
famous for his legendary sacrifice against the evil sorcerer Zarok.
In 1286, Zarok raised a demonic army to conquer the kingdom.
Legend says Fortesque led the King's army against Zarok's demonic hordes,
and struck down the wizard himself in battle – though in reality, he took a fatal wound at the start of the fight –
which cemented his posthumous status as the "Hero of Gallowmere."

Translation: Russian translation by Seldon84 FAQ Spoilers: Show Q: Can I play a normal Skyrim playthrough after installing your mod?
A: Yes, you can. Just use the "Dragon Gate" at the starting location. Q: What happens when I finish this mod, its quest, and everything?
A: You have the option to continue the normal Skyrim main quest/world. Q: I collected some weapons in the mod. What happens to them if I decide to start a Skyrim playthrough?
A: They are transferred to the chest in the small cemetery near Riverwood. You can retrieve them after leaving Helgen Keep. Q: Can I start a new game, do a Skyrim playthrough, and then go back to start the Hero of Gallowmere part?
A: Yes. There's a teleporter in the small cemetery near Riverwood that allows you to start the MediEvil content from the mod. Q: You mentioned swapping weapons at the small cemetery in Riverwood? What weapons do I get from the swap?
A: You will receive the same type of weapon you swapped, but with higher stats (comparable to Ebony/Daedric weapons). Q: Will you make more levels for MediEvil?
A: No. The project was originally only intended to include the first four levels. Credits: Spoilers: Show Music by: Adam Ockman  R.B. Evans Ciaran J.
