Realistic Horse Growth (RHG) adds a configurable horse growth system based on bonding. Horses gradually grow as their bond increases instead of changing instantly at bond level milestones. Define your desired growth target through the config and choose which breed size your horse will naturally grow towards while keeping the vanilla RDR2 feeling.

[b]Description[/b]

Realistic Horse Growth (RHG) adds a configurable horse growth system based on bonding.
Instead of instantly changing size when reaching a new bond level, horses gradually grow over time as their bond increases.

Each horse breed has its own natural base size and growth potential. Through the configuration file, you can choose the target growth size and customize how large your horse can become while keeping the vanilla RDR2 feeling.

[b]Important Note[/b]

RHG supports both horse growth and shrinking.

If you choose a breed that is smaller than your horse's current size, your horse will gradually shrink over time.

If you choose a larger breed, your horse will gradually grow over time.

This reverse growth behavior is fully intentional and is not restricted, allowing players to freely choose the progression they prefer.

This makes it possible to create anything from a growing Arabian to a gradually shrinking Shire, depending on your configuration.

2. Install the required ASI loader.
3. Place the RHG files into your Red Dead Redemption 2 root folder.
4. Edit the configuration file to customize your desired horse growth settings.
5. Launch the game and bond with your horse to see gradual growth.
