About Pet Status

Stop losing track of the pets you left at home, underground, or in another dimension. Pet Status gives every player a private dashboard with live or last-known information about their own pets.

How to use

Press U to open Pet Status. The key can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu. Newly tamed pets are discovered immediately. Pets that already existed before installing the mod are added after the server loads them once.

An entry marked Loaded contains live information. An entry marked Last known shows the most recent saved health, state, and location because the pet's chunk is not currently loaded. Distances to last-known positions are approximate, and pets in another dimension are identified without a misleading distance.

Configuration

Use the toggle inside the Pet Status dashboard to enable or disable the compact crosshair card. Its individual rows can also be configured in config/pet-status.json.

Installation

Install matching Pet Status and Zero Lib builds on both the client and server. Architectury API is also required; Fabric installations additionally require Fabric API.
